The first meeting of the Advisory Board of the ProSkills2Work Horizon Europe-funded ERA Chair Project took place online on 26 September 2025. It was attended by 15 members representing the Ministry of Education and Science, academia from the country and abroad, employers’ organisations, enterprise unions, and chambers of industry and commerce from Bulgaria, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, as well as representatives of international dual training projects successfully operating in Bulgaria, including Domino 1/2 and GoDual.
During the 90-minute session, the project and the role of the Advisory Board were outlined by the Project Coordinator Prof. Vasil Kirov and by the ProSkills2Work ERA Chair Holder Prof. Christian Imdorf. This was followed by short interventions by the members, a Q&A session and a discussion on priorities in networking, capacity building and the future dissemination of project results. The first meeting of the Advisory Board concluded with sharing the envisaged next steps concerning the early research phase of the project.
A second meeting of the Advisory Board is anticipated in May 2026, upon completion of the fieldwork of the first phase of the study. The ProSkills2Work team and the IPS management appreciate highly the interest towards dual vocational training and education and the active involvement of the representatives of external organisations, and are looking forward to a fruitful collaboration over the next four and a half years.
