is all about putting the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology (IPS) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences on the global research map!

Project Duration: 1 March 2025 – 28 February 2030

Project Budget: EUR 2 476 132 (100% EU Funding)

The project aims to elevate institute’s expertise in research on vocational education and training in Bulgaria to a world-class level.

At its core, ProSkills2Work explores how vocational skills are formed in Bulgaria, how people upskill throughout their careers, and what shapes their journey from education to the workforce.

The research addresses key challenges in workplace learning and skill development, while also refining sociological concepts to better understand the evolving relationship between education and work within Bulgaria’s dynamic social and economic context.
